dilemma dilemma
What do you get for a group of 5 girls:
1. who are a group of fussy 19 year olds
2. who were your high school friends... janer dosto...
3. who are NOT girly-girly
4. and NOT nerdy-nerdy
5. last time you saw who was 4 years ago (before leaving for sydney from dhaka), you occasionally wrote to each other, both snail-mails and e-mails, talked on the phone--no awkward silences during the convos--> (hopefully) lots to say and feel
6. you really really want to give something special and imaginative (note again: not girly-girly)
7. when you are in... err... tight budget (don't bash me up... $15-$20/head max).
8. Okay, I know what you are thinking--I am heading towards impossibility... GOD HELP!

Hmmmm. Perhaps you could make them something. Get several 'memory' items together plus a recent pic of yourself and arrange them all inside a long elegant bottle and seal it. Wrap it ribbon or whatever, there ya go

yeah...do something different...go a bit wild and write them all a poem or something and put it in a nice decorative box that they keep!
